So a realization hit me just a few minutes ago. I do not have a life. If I did, I believe my computer sucked it up and hid it from me.
I am sitting here reading about Emma Watson, I like her, not like the embarrassment of famous people here in the US. But I have digressed. Anyways reading her site led me to the new Harry Potter trailer. I was watching it while eating raw cookie dough. I have officially sunk low. Not that there is anything wrong with Emma Watson, or Harry Potter, just that I have spent way to much time on this wretched computer.
Now I sound like a girl. See no life.
I think to help me, I will be adding old poems of what my life used to be. What is funny, my life might be boring, but it definitely does not suck.

My job
Okay - I returned to work last night after taking five days off. I have no idea why my personality seems to attract everyone, and says that I can solve problems. Hey let me solve your problem! Even if you are not in my department! Heck I can even help the union do better, because the employees don't trust them, but trust your supervisor. Scary.
I was a leader in a union for an airline for five years. Talk about brutal. We were the most unhappy people, that hated our jobs. Actually I loved my job, hated the way we had to treat passengers and their luggage just to get the majority of people to where they need to go. Management did not help.
Now I work for the local transit company, and moved into management. Now the shoe is on the other foot. I have been here for eighteen months and have really enjoyed the job. Right now I have no fear that I will be laid off. My check still comes to me, and it is never wrong. Meaning I still get the majority of it, and don't have to wait to get the rest of it the next payday. My boss is awesome, letting me do what I need to do to take care of the work and crew.
Back to last night. It is nearly impossible to get yourself in trouble here unless you really don't care. I mean REALLY DON'T CARE. Basically the more serious stuff, like sexual harassment and safety issues will get you in hot water and more than likely terminated. The big issues with my crew is that someone doesn't want to help and be a team player. I had half the crew come talk to me. Little complaints. I take them serious. One employee had had enough. He was yelling and swearing. It was very belligerent. I wasn't sure where he was trying to go with it. He was yelling about another employee who has had people do their job for them until recently, and they were disciplined for minor stuff (missed days) that was getting serious, that very night. Domino effect. Then he started on the other supervisors. Little did he know it was me that was making the decision that actually helped in the long run.
So I hope I live up to their expectations as a problem solver. I guess when they stop coming to me, I will know that I suck at my job. The employee that was yelling stopped after I got after them and came to me later. Just frustration. It all worked out. I still love this job.

Nothing Like a bowl of black spaghetti
Life is really full of surprises, especially when you put them upon yourself.
Don't you love it when you get an email from someone you had not heard from in six or ten years? (I was thinking of doing that just to see what would happen.) Thank you My Space. Delete!
You get the shocking bill that says you are really late on your payment and call in anger and frustration when you are yelling at the the customer service supervisor and pull out your check book, only to find that you filled out the check, but left it in. Whoops!
Or when you were busy your child asks for something and you answer, but you really are not listening to them and they cut up every piece of paper in the house, because I said yes. Can't argue that logic - bye,bye scissors.
So for FUN, I served my family black spaghetti on Halloween night for dinner. Not to excited, to say the least. Come on! This is Halloween! It will be fun, and to help get in the mood for trick-r-treating. It was pretty good. Tastes like regular spaghetti, except it is thicker and more hearty.
I served the rest of it today for lunch. It kinda lost it's appeal. It is a rainy and dreary filled day. more like black spaghetti water. I hope there are not any surprises. Needless to say- no more black spaghetti.

My first life as a blogger
Here I am jumping in feet first for the first time "Blogging." I really can't say much for the experience till I actually hit the save button. I am excited yet nervous. What ever I type will be out there. Where ever there is.
I live in Utah, and Californian's are not pleased with us. Collectively were are looked on as a state completely full of 100% Mormons. Salt Lake City is 50/50. I have nothing to say about the proposition 8, except people will never be happy no matter what is said or done. We definitely are in a ME generation. I just hope WE can grow up sometime.
I live in a little town North of SLC. If fact it is rural yet growing. We have the usual super Wal-Mart, which must mean we have hit the big time right? Yet there is a cow pasture right down the street with a home surrounded by chickens. But just ignore the $400,000 dollar homes being built down the other way.
I live in the city by a dead lake. Go down on of our main roads and it takes you on to the largest island. It is really beautiful when looking away from the lake. The mountains are covered in white, and the trees around us are on fire with the season of change. I hope change is good, after last week.
